Come watch Kumamoto City's mascot Higomaru and his pal Arisa sing and dance. Everyone is welcome.
Josaien shops and restaurants have now resumed normal operating hours.
Starting July 2022:
Shops: 9AM-6PM
Restaurants: 11AM-6PM (reservations required after 6PM)
By Shinkansen: Shinkansen to JR Kumamoto Station. East Exit to Tram Line, board A or B towards Kengun. Get off at Kumamoto Castle/City Hall stop. Cross street toward Castle and follow signs to Sakuranobaba Josaien.
By Bus: Board bus to Sakuramachi Bus Terminal. Get off at Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, head towards Castle, follow signs to Sakuranobaba Josaien.
