Changes to Johsaien Hours of Operation due to Kumamoto Earthquakes
As of April 29th (Friday), the most of the shops and restaurants of Johsaien Kumamoto Castle town are open for business (a few still remain closed).
Hours:
April 29th (Friday) – May 8th (Sunday)
Shops: 10AM to 6PM
Restaurants: 11:30AM to 3PM (dinner available through reservations)

For 3 days, from April 29th (Friday) to May 1st (Sunday), starting at 12PM (until supplies run out)
Hideki Sekijima Concert for Kumamoto Disaster Recovery
Food and souvenirs are available for sale just inside the main entrance to Johsaien, with profits being donated to the Kumamoto Disaster Recovery Fund. Donations are also accepted.
